Matej Michalko

Matej Michalko is a blockchain entrepreneur and cybersecurity leader with more than 16 years of experience in cryptography, blockchain, and decentralized technologies. He is the founder of Decent Cybersecurity, an international company specializing in post-quantum encryption, blockchain solutions, and advanced cyber defence for critical industries, including space, aerospace, defence, and unmanned systems.

Matej Michalko leads Decent Cybersecurity as a consortium partner in the €32 million AIDA project, funded by the European Defence Fund. The project focuses on developing AI-driven, crypto-agile cyber defence systems designed to strengthen digital security for critical applications. Decent Cybersecurity holds NATO, European Union, and national Secret-level security clearances and is ISO certified.

My mission is to advance secure digital technologies that help organizations protect their data, strengthen digital infrastructure, and build trust in an increasingly connected world. By supporting innovation in blockchain, cryptography, and cybersecurity, I aim to develop practical solutions that address today's security challenges while preparing for future threats.
